Have you ever had anyone comment on your body language?

I was once sat down and told that my body language read "unapproachable" and "unopen." Understanding that body language reveals things that you wouldn't say with your mouth, I developed my own way of sitting (especially in meetings) that pretty much says nothing.

Many comments I get now are, "You're very hard to read." As though it's a bad thing. I think I'd rather be unreadable than read as unapproachable. Plus, I'd probably be a great poker player.

In the past, my previous boss (a nice man) said he had noticed sometimes a difference between what I said and what my body language showed.
I have read a book with pictures about body language. Currently, I like to think I'm in control of my body language, and stand or sit in a way I think is best for the situation.

Body language is almost more important than spoken language in the NT world.  It may appear to an autistic individual they are being ignored and rejected by an NT who in reality is merely respecting the boundaries that they have interpreted from the body language.  This language barrier causes a lot of problems.  Bullies often strict after misinterpreting body language as hostile and antagonistic.

I'm likelier to get comments about how I've failed to take notice of the body language of others.
