Pick the best idea
From what I've read on this section, these are the major ideas that have been proposed. So pick the one that you think will work the best, etc.

RE: Pick the best idea
Think the idea is currently to buy one of the islands of Dubai, which are currently being built. I don't know if anyone have enough money though.

The problem seems to be people aren't thinking realistically. Ideas vary from Dubai to Antacrtica to Mexico. I think the neighborhood and continental land ideas are best, and it should be somewhere realistic. I would like somewhere cool and not too heavily poplulated, maybe Upper Michigan or British Columbia.

Oooh, I live in small-town British Columbia. I grew up trapping, fishing and hunting in really remote areas here. It's a nice area but it's kind of ravaged by global warming...

RE: Pick the best idea
An island sounds great, but it would be easier, faster, and cheaper to go for neighborhood enclaves.
(As neighbor's &**$%^ music thumps through the wall again, Meega smiles, dreaming of a whole Aspie neighborhood where nobody would keep playing that crap at building-disturbing volume....)

I'd like to stay within NT society, so as to have connections available when necssary. But having a sheltered place to live would be cool.
Best of both worlds = a neighborhood of our own.

RE: Pick the best idea
i like the neighborhood idea the best, like aspietown or something. It would definatly be an example all towns should strive for. Theonly bad thing could be hate crimes and vandalism of our homes by NT extremists and stupid *** people. And island could keep us safer from those people.

RE: Pick the best idea
Most realistic is the neiborhood thing I think. And Soccerfreak is right in that are biggest problem would be the vandalism and the like.
Island would keep us the safest but also isolate ourselves from the rest of the world. This is both good and bad from the way I see it.
