RE: I SUPPORT autism
I am not sure what you mean by supporting autism, what about autism do you support?

RE: I SUPPORT autism
this is is what i post else where:
Support Autism Awareness it's not the curse C.A.N. and D.A.N. make it out to be. CELEBRATE the differences, dont 'cure' them. Be proud. Pass the word along. Make the heading: I support Austim.
CAN= Cure Austism Now
DAN= Destroy Austim Now

RE: I SUPPORT autism
Usually it is Defeat Autism Now, but maybe it is a message in your translation.
I think it is great that we celebrate who we are, especially if people get a more positive view of autistic people.

Ok, i'm autistic, but you guys clearly have a perspective on it that i don't.
What's there to support or be proud of?

The points to celebrate (how i see it) are that autism is part of your identity you are what you are
everything has good points and bad points if you look at negative that is all you will see.
A lot of the Autistic community also see autism as a gift making them better in some fields than others. (not my belief)
At the end of the day its how you interpret Autism.

RE: I SUPPORT autism
I completely support Autism and it's many forms. We shouldn't be cured because people anywhere believe that we're sick. We are fine, we're just plain different.
If anyone here is familiar with Autistic Pride Day on June 18th, please read my thread http://www.aspiesforfreedom.com/showthre...?tid=16687
This mainly applies to Australian Aspies, however, if you believe also that my vision is worth the hard work, then by all means voice your opinion. You can reply in the thread or you can contact me by dropping me an e-mail at cobains_soldier@hotmail.com or ringing me at 65668830 (you may need the overseas code thingy if foreign, I don't speak other languages).
Just when I think I've worked it out; these pieces move and I'm back to the start

Same here. Yes, I am being lazy and using Robby's post as a vehicle for my own thoughts.

I am not moderate, that's for sure.
Everyone can create something strong and mad in his life, even me. We are all responsible.
When I talk about autism, The only way I make joke is sarcasm.
