Autistic pride flag?

I've kinda ripped off the gay community more by making two flag propsals as a Autistic Pride flag.

Regular 8.. I'm lazy

Infinity symbol... I wanted the "8" to be bigger but seeing how paint is a piece of crap that just isn't happening.

I prefer the infinity sign, and if the colours were a paler spectrum, not the bright colours associated with the gay pride flag, it would be good.
Nice effort. Smile

How about the infinity snake on a single colour background?

A flag with a black background and a single red "A" would be cool.

No, the "A" wouldn't look like an anarchy symbol. I'm thinking that it would look like a solid, upside down V.

I still think the infinity snake would be good

hmm, that was the original concept for the AFF logo but we never used it (good thing now - people would definately call us "militant")

The colors are for the spectrum, right? Maybe you could have a brown or black stripe at one side to seperate the flag from gay bride, and to show that autism is a lot of different colors combined.

I think the flag should consist of the rainbow coloured mobius loop on an infra red and ultra violet background to represent both ends of the spectrum.

Not entirely sure how that would work exactly.

I wonder if we made a picture of it, then made it in a format that people could print off, and tape to a stick to wave as a flag.
Anyone want to try designing such a picture?

A successful flag will  consist of a very simple, bold design in a few primary colours that can be readily  manufactured and reproduced at low cost with simple equipment.

It must stand out in poor visibility, be easy to identify from a distance, and not be readily confused with any other flag or logo.

In fact why not make it a pennant instead of a flag. It could bode well for  one of my master yet non biased plans (some kind of primarily autistic sailors association.) and more importantly it would be distinctive. Flags don't have to be just square as this example goes to show...

autism pride flag

I had thought of designing an autism pride flag. But I dunno. Do we realy need a flag? I don't want most people to know that I have Aspergers. I guess I am more concerned with learning the skills to function in society rather than being an "aspie" (I realy dislike the term aspie by the way)

If you don't want people to know you are an aspie, then it defeats the purpose of autistic pride.

Y'arr!
