RE: Ongoing story...

They are friends in a siamese way and the back bone of the ongoing story from which they have derived their names Ong (o) Ing. So Ong & Ing is the guys that monitor the story while we who writes it have our minds elsewhere. My mind goes out to the heroes of the Telemark that foiled Hitler's plan to build a very big bad bomb.

off topic. An uncle to me is the brother of either of my parents. My parents was born in 1939. I guess you're using the uncle term in its wider meaning. In this world is places that hasn't yet seen the sun of february 11, 2007. Somewhere it's still saturday the 10th. Somewhere it's already monday the 12th. Oh, what a queer world this is...

RE: Ongoing story...

Just thought that it had to be a very old uncle. At least 78+ y.o. or older. From looking at my memory of the picture of yourself that you posted on the thread for such matters I would put your age at 16. That means that your folks could very well be my age (42 in june this year), or something like that. My maternal grandmother married a norwegian fella in the late 1940ies; Bjarne, was his name. My my, is this off topic or not???

I admit to having skipped over chapter seven. Jay Gatsby, my own stoic uncle, to use the term ironically, once ing, once ong, the unchosen gumdrop. Shoes with a zipper pocket he wore, posthumous, anachronistic, red. Return at once to the camel room!

-Always a joker. We've heard that one before...

And so they all hopped into the nearest spaceship and blasted off for their next adventure in hyperspace. Cliches anyone?
