"Not sure," I mumbled. But a seed of a memory peeked cheekily from the darkness. "Perhaps..."

"Never mind." He offered me some of his apricot liquer. "'Ere. Very popular with the ants, this. Puts hairs on your antennae."

I was about to point out to him that I was not in fact an ant, and therefore had no antennae. But, raising my hand to my forehead, I suddenly found...

RE: Ongoing story...

that we were in a movie, only this one going in reverse, everything was so strange I felt like home, and I was fighting to identify the soundtrack but I were at a total loss, it was like a tsunami of impressions constantly attacking my senses and suddenly we were in a car and the highway was a really lonely place, but I was peaceful and you kept talking about a guy you had seen dancing in the desert of your imagination and how he seemed eaten by weird emotions, and teeth of flame gnawed at the back of my mind, and I had this lovely apricot taste in my mouth, but a sudden rush of incredible visions made everything so still, like after a heavy rain, and a rainbow with black towered over us, and it was weeping...

Showering over my head as though they would never stop, the shower of licorice drops planted themselves in the ground, where they sprouted to form...

But she no longer remembered where home was. She'd been beguiled by visions of pyschoactive apricots and completely lost her way.

RE: Ongoing story...

But when everything really seemed lost beyond repair a kangaroo came gliding gracefully over the tarmac, briefly stopping beside Mergatroyd scoping her up and putting her beside her own little baby before moving on. It was over in a second and all we could think was that miracles only happen when there's a real need for them...

RE: Ongoing story...

... and so it will be as Nyanchan thought.

The ongoing story has stopped in its tracks. Ong & Ing is out of work and they toss a coin to decide which one of them will go get the day's beer. Ah, yes that's all they do. Toss coin, get beer, drink beer, get fat and stupid. Is that a life? No way it ain't much of a life. But it's ours and we happen to like it like this quiet and peacefull and well, backward kinda place.

But what about Mergatroyd? And that gracefully gliding kangaroo? Will we ever learn what happened to them we sure will post it here...

The kangaroo hopped it with Mergatroyd still comfortably ensconced in her pouch.

RE: Ongoing story...

BUT then, a silhoutte of grusome figure appeared through the mist. It was the avatar of the almighty god Erkolos with a twisted grin over his face. He was armed with giant fist-weapons and was obviously waiting for someone.

The devil had arrived...

And he said with his grim voice...

(Where did the 'I' character go?)

RE: Ongoing story...

(Supposing ichtims thought the avatar asked "-Where did the 'I' character go?")

Then the grusome avatar asked:
-Who is Ing and Ong?
