RE: The Aspie-quiz...
I'm wondering what you thought of the picture of the woman on the first page of the test. Which option did you pick to describe her?
I didn't get that one (maybe they're random or cyclical or version-specific). I got a poorly-wriiten paragraph describing a pretty humdrum situation that, I suppose, was meant to provoke some kind of emotional response. Or something.
I got AS 143/200, NT 59/200. More or less what I expected. By the way, here's the link which I haven't seen elsewhere in this thread (of course, if you Google for "aspie quiz" it's at the top of the list).
In general, I found the available choices terribly limiting. I can see where you wouldn't want to overburden people with choice, but c'mon. This was particularly true of the stim questionnaire (most of my answers were "regardless of mood" or "for other reasons," neither of which conveys much information).
That the test was apparently composed by Swedes with a limited grasp of English tenses and, to a lesser extent, vocabulary didn't help either -- especially where that initial paragraph was concerned. "Do you use to have diarrhea?" was just plain baffling.

RE: The Aspie-quiz...
Hmmm... I've been saying "I'm not Aspie, but my partner is"...
I turned out a bit more Aspie than I thought:
Your Aspie score: 98 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 93 of 200
You are both Aspie and neurotypical
I don't exactly understand being "both"...

RE: The Aspie-quiz...
I think what they mean by both is that you have are both NT and have some AS traits.
My scores on version 9 were:
Your Aspie score: 177 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 27 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

RE: The Aspie-quiz...
Woah. Took new version of aspie quiz and got
Your Aspie score: 180 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 24 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
Yet I still doubt. And what was with all those rather inane questions about bowel habits and favourite foods? It is almost like they are trying to either pigeonhole Aspergers into a set of likes and dislikes or trying to build a profile of them.

RE: The Aspie-quiz...
I took the Aspie quiz a few days ago and it gave me the results:
Thank you for filling out this questionnaire.
Your Aspie score: 98 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 108 of 200
You are both Aspie and neurotypical
I guess I'm more NT than I thought I was.

RE: The Aspie-quiz...
I got like 181 out of 200 for my aspie score when I took this quiz a few weeks ago.
Surprised my psychiatrist didn't catch anything. . .

AQ= 42
ASPIE-QUIZ:
Version 9
Your Aspie score: 131 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 43 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
You have been selected as a candidate for the stim-quiz
Never been officially DX'd, but the very idea of having that done seems terribly complicated, exhausting and invasive -- find a Dr., schedule an app't, mebbe hafta schedule time off work, break my routine, deal with whatever their testing entails for however long and however many visits -- and hardly worth the effort, all for what? Just to be able to say a Dr. confirmed what already seems patently obvious to me? Simply knowing that AS exists and describes me to a "T", and being able to accept the tradeoffs -- letting myself off the hook for my difficulties while affirming my adeptitudes (Is that a word? It is now! ) -- is all I ever needed.
Best regards,
-Tye
