RE: animal

If my user name is any indication, I ADORE animals. Except insects (butterflies are alright to look at), I'm scared to death of insects. I especially love furry animals that are cuddly. I have two chinchillas that are so nice to hold. I also like rubbing my cat against my face (she doesn't seem to mind). It's probably a form of stimming.

Smile  RE: animal

Hi animalpersOn, welcome to AFF! Smile  I love soft cuddly animals too; I've never held a chinchilla but I've seen some and the fur is gorgeous...looks so soft! Big Grin

Yes, chinchilla fur is considered the softest in the world and is thirty times softer than human hair.  Chinchillas have the highest fur density of any land animal with more than 20,000 hairs per square cm. Whereas humans grow one hair from each follicle, a chinchilla has more than fifty hairs from a single follicle.

But, I love dogs best :-)

Hah!  My kids have, in the past, set up a habitat for them, then collect a few (easy around here), then stare with anticipation of the expected metamorphous!

Border Collie for me.  Great at rounding up the kids... and chasing away cats...Smile

Penguins and Pandas.

I have an odd obsession with black and white animals. No idea why.

When I grow up I want to be a penguin....

Hehe. That's cool.

Maybe cats are kind of stimming too when they rub you against their faces.

Ooohh, zebras are good too, and raccoons, and ring tailed lemurs, and badgers....

and hedgehogs (although they aren't black and white)
