I think there needs to be more of a description of the rules it follows, delineating specifically what affixes there are and what they mean.  It would be easier to go through.

An alphabetized vocabulary list is also needed.

I like the color names.

Question--does this intend to be mainly monosyllabic?  I'm alright with that, but phoneme inventory may need to be expanded.  There are only so many combinations you can make with a single set.

Also, it would help if you explained the spelling conventions.  J is a particularly variable letter across languages, and applying English rules to the pronunciation doesn't help either because these have limited consistency.  S varies in english pronunciation, so do vowel sounds.  So it would help a lot.

A note to this--I think it's also important to have a 1:1 grapheme-phoneme relationship (what I mean is, one letter or letter combination means the same sound everytime, and there are no other letters or combos that could also be that sound.  I'm counting digraphs as single graphemes for this case).

Other than the presentation, I like it.

FANTASTIC!!!.....I'll link my forum to this if you don't mind....This is good progress!!!Good work team!!

Now comes the hard part. We need to start putting in words for different objects-car,piano,etc. we also need to have someone compile these words into a list!

I say we add every 100 words to the autlang site.

Another step is a writen system! we need to come up with different signs for the words!

We already have one for the word Aspergers-the min sign which can be seen in the aspergian island logo.

It's just the outline of the beginning of the language, the content so far is what we have come up with here, and what me and Luai have been working on in the #autlang chat room.

I wanted everyone to be able to see it to comment as we go, in case there is some kind of glaring error you would spot it, and we could change it as we work along.

I can add more to the page today.

Ji re Autlang.

I'm a little confuzzled about the 'I am not sitting' (ji emen), where 'sit' is listed as 'em'. Shouldn't 'sit' be 'me', so that every verb starts with a consonant and ends with a vowel?

I also think that there should be a list of how to pronounce the graphemes and phonemes.

Great work so far Smile

Ji emen
Ji = I         emen =(not) sitting
e = not    me = sit    n = -ing

Understand it now?
(it's pronounced eh-mehn)

i understood how it was pronounced, but near the top of the autlang page, there is a slight mistake where 'sit' is translated as 'em', where it should be 'me' (pronounced 'meh')

Like I may have said, we need to try and come up with words for use in everyday life-like car, dresser, draw, kitchen, etc.

may I suggest splitting the various objects into categories like:

House objects:

Personal possesions:

Kitchen utensils:

etc.

We still don't have numbers sorted yet. Feel free to add:

0: Qo
1: Yie
2: Co
3: Sar
4: Tor
5: Gur
6: Ba
7: Fee
8: At
9: Nay

10: Yie Du
11: Yie Du Yie
20: Co Du
53: Gur Du Sar

100: Yie Huna
666: Ba Huna Ba Du Ba

1,000: Yie Turo
1,000,000: Yie Miru

I hope you understand how this works. I kept it fairly simple Smile

On another note, it's getting quite hard to come up with short sounds that haven't already been taken.  :?

Me and Luai did come up with numbers yesterday which we didnt finish off.

It was 2 letter words from 1-9 then with ten being x, then adding x onto the end of the 1-9 to make 11 and so on.

We did also toy with the idea that the letter 'c' was unnecesary, as both the sounds it makes can be indicated with 'k' and 's'.
What do you think?

As for dividing nouns into sections, here's a few more to consider:
Family members
Ideas (i.e, War, Freedom, Peace, ect.)
Animals
Food

Oh, and about sounds:  I made a list of all the different combinations of two letters(minus c), I'll post it:

Nouns

ab ad ae af ag ah ai aj ak al am an ao ap aq ar as at au av aw ax ay az

ea eb ed ee ef eg eh ei ej ek el em en eo ep eq er es et eu ev ew ex ey ez

oa ob od oe of og oh oi oj ok ol om on op oq or os ot ou ov ow ox oy oz

ua ub ud ue uf ug uh ui uj uk ul um un uo up uq ur us ut uu uv uw ux uy uz

ya ye yi yo yu

Verbs
