Design a flag for Autfinity

I know that its unlikely we would be an independant nation, but to have a flag would be a great symbol.

If people have ideas too, others might be inspired design wise.

Any design would need to be allowed to be used freely for anything associated with Autfinity and AFF as a whole.

Personally I would like something with the infinity sign on, not sure what else though.

This is probably way too obvious, but sometimes flag designs are obvious, because they're designed to be "read" instantly:

A medium-to-light blue background behind the main image could convey the idea of an island, as it looks sea-color.

Also this color is often associated with internationality (the UN) and with peace (peaceful cloudless sky, calm ocean).

I'd rather wait until we're a bit further along before doing a flag myself.

Right now we only have a couple dozen active people, and how many are artists?

Countries have thousands of options to draw on, not under a dozen.

You can wait, but by then we will have made flags and chosen one.
We aren't going to be a country of millions.

Agreed, we have more practical concerns at the moment. We haven't even descided where it's going to be yet.

Anyways the design for the flag is perfectly obvious to me

(just ignore the animation)

That's what my son made for me. That specific design is copyrighted by the way, and wouldn't be used for a flag.

This link has some flags that have quite unusual designs.

http://www.theodora.com/clients/flags5.jpg

On the Martinique one it looks like 4 snakes.

What about 4 panels, each representing something?

I know some may feel that it's too soon to make a flag, but we may as well do what we can now, plus enjoy it.

If we aren't going to enjoy ourselves and just have toil, then it wouldn't be much better than anything else.

don't like pastels that much Amy sorry.

I still think to simple infinity sign is the best. who own the copyright to that? the only symbol that looks like that is the icon for Microsoft Visual Studio. but that is still very different.

The infinity sign is a mathematical symbol, it's not copyrighted, but each person who drew it, coloured it, etc would own their own design.
