RE:
I think Charlie Brown from all the Peanuts TV specials was very aspie like. If you are around my age and grew up in the US, you know these shows very well. He was always being bullied by that Lucy girl, became infatuated with the little red haired girl and was descriminated against in the Halloween special. He went trick-or-treating and everyone gave him rocks instead of candy. He seems like the typical Aspie kid regarded as a loser by all his peers. I remember that one of the nicknames the other kids used to call me was Charlie Brown.
Yup, I'd have to say that Charlie Brown was a definite aspie. Even had the screams of frustration that I have every so often.
I'd say that Raven from Teen Titans may have been an aspie...or maybe she's just emo.
I know he's not a cartoon, but my hero, Mister Spock, was a definite aspie from a whole race of aspies.

RE: Cartoon characters who might be Aspie
I'll add Cleveland Brown Jr. to the list. I just started watching "The Cleveland Show"; a Seth MacFarlane spinoff of "The Family Guy". In "The Family Guy", Cleveland Brown (senior) was one of Peter Griffith's friends.
The "Cleveland Brown Show" focuses on Cleveland Brown (senior) and his new family as the central characters. Cleveland Brown (senior) got divorced and moved from Rhode Island to Virginia with his son. Well, I must say that Clevelend Brown Junior is definitely Aspie. He has Aspie quirks (such as being naive, and wanting friends and a girlfriend but not having either), and gets taken advantage of by his step-siblings.

RE: Cartoon characters who might be Aspie
I saw a list of fictional characters that have/could have AS or similar autistic traits, and one of them was Miyuki Takara from the manga and anime Lucky Star. She is smart, but clumsy. This video shows her clumsiness.

Mabey Lisa Simpson.
She is really smart for her age group, but her social skills are'nt great. Quite like me- although it's what people think of me that affects my social skills. Have watched simpsons 4 years but am getting sick of it. Think they are running out of jokes in new episodes.
True, Vulcans and Spock are quite Aspie-like.
Raven wuz definetley emo, used 2 watch this show as a kid, she shows some symptoms of Aspies- Social skills her tone of voice etc. But then again she wuz from a differnet dimension with an evil father. So no wonder she had problems fitting in. I mean my father wuz abusive but at least he didin't try and take over the world and universe.

RE:
omid, I agree with you. However, if you're claiming that Squidward is an underacheiver for having a cashier job, then the same could be said about Spongebob flipping Krabby Patties. Now if you had said Squidward's a slacker, then that I can agree with.
Also Squidward could be representative of how NTs view Aspies. Where Spongebob is more like the fun side of being Aspie. Even though he does have a few friends, alot of the stuff he does with them seems rather rediculous to outsiders.
Interestingly enough, Tom Kenny himself has said that SpongeBob was vaguely autistic because despite being odd, he has a job which he is passionate about and lives on his own. Also, a lot f autistic kids are drawn to him for these reasons, so I agree with SB being Aspie

I can't stand that thing! No offense to those who are die hard fans but I think the entire cast of Spongebob has some sort of substance abuse with the exception of Plankton. He's your usual arrogant self important egomaniac. Spongebob is on crack, Patrick is the pothead, Squidward is the classic alcoholic, and Mr. Krabbs and Sandy huff laughing gas. I honestly believe this.
On the topic, I always thought Numbah Three from the Kids Next Door seemed like an aspie. I mean she seemed a bit TOO friendly and obsessed with cute animals that it just didn't seem natural. Elmyra Duff from Tiny Tunes also seemed very aspie since she would be after whatever cute animal came her way with the exception of Hamilton Pig and couldn't stay focused on anything else but the animals. The Little Dog from 2 Stupid Dogs also seemed to be an aspie. Watch the show and you'll see what I mean. I do not get the channel that currently airs the cartoon and I haven't seen it in about ten years since they stopped airing it on Cartoon Network. A few of the Mamodos from Zatch Bell were also aspie like although they could have also been just plain naive since many were about age 6 or 7 in human years and looked like small children and unfamilar with the human world.

Really, I always thought the aspie one was Number Two...

RE: Cartoon characters who might be Aspie
Calvin
from Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes in the newspaper comics (well it's only in books now).
He has a vivid imagination, several alter egos, an imaginary friend, no real friends, an extensive and flawless vocabulary, creative enginuity, and a personal bully. And he almost always causes agrivation for his parents, baby sitter, teacher, and his classmate Susie Derkins.
If you know Calvin, you know he's an Aspie.
No way. Calvin is straight-up ADHD. With a capital H. That's where his problems socializing come from. He doesn't misunderstand things, or really obsess over stuff. The conflicts mostly come from him being creative and free, and them being controling and lame.
Chris Christie is so fat, I was giving a presentation and he ate my pie charts.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Calvin was more adventurous than aspie. One strip involves him accidentally causing the car to go into reverse and into a ditch and he runs aways from home terrified of being punished. There have been a few times where he actually gets along fine with other kids and the adults. One incident is when he was at Susie's birthday party. He behaved very well there and it was Hobbes who caused some trouble in one of that week's strips. Hobbes ate a piece of the cake before Susie even blew out the candles. As for the babysitter Roselyn, Calvin actually behaved pretty well one time even though he techincally just hid in the car until she went home. But it counts as Calvin didn't cause any trouble for her. There were even a few times that Miss Wormwood had no issues with him. My favorite is the time when he was daydreaming and Wormwood snaps the boy back into realty and says they were studying geography. She then asks what state he lived in and Calvin replied happily, "Denial." The teacher then simply sighed and said, "I suppose I can't argue with that."
