If an action agenda is designed to solve a problem, then what is the problem? You also mention ideas, do you just mean any ideas that people have?

It seems you are asking something extremely vague.

What's the problem? -You ask... You tell me! Exactly what problem or problems are you all seeking to address, with whatever suggested measures. Indeed, how are the ideas here supposed to help, and what problem or problems are they meant to help to begin with? Indeed, as I have already posted in another thread, a clear problem statement might make a useful starting point.

I am certainly not the one vague, by explicitly requesting information as to any action agenda to emerge from this forum, any action agenda whatsoever, nor am I vague in directly recommending clear problem statements, as a separate comment. But, again, if and in so far as any of this may have ever already been addressed, do point me to the pertinent back posts.

So for a long-time plan like this, we can't make an action agenda.

We can make an outline and a plan for each step as we reach it.

That's about the limit, no?

Have any such outlines arisen from this forum? Can anyone show me? And what are the standards of adequacy pertaining thereto? Is there even a clear agenda towards the crafting of any such step by step outlines?

I know what he is asking for. That site definintion of action plan is a little screwy. an Action  plan is a a series of conrete steps that one must take to accomplish a goal. The goal being Autfinity. But we don't have an action plan. we not at that stage yet. We are still very much in the brainstorming phase(I hope).

In that case, effective brainstorming begins with well focused problem definition. And really, need I ask?

Is an action agenda the same as an action plan? There are so many imponderables involved that it is going to be tricky to set any kind of timeline for such a project.

RE: Action agenda?

Considering all the to-ing and fro-ing we had on the "what principles does this site stand for?" thread just a little while ago, I get the impression we're* not as far along yet as having a concrete list of goals with a timeline.  We can't have an action plan if we're still deciding what our goals are.

* "We" is a bit problematic, because I am a minority on here and admit it.  If there was a cure, I'd personally take it, which is the opposite of most AFFers.  BUT I'm still prepared to defend other Aspies right to NOT be cured, autistic fetuses' right to be born, and autistic rights in general.  Sorry about the wordy disclaimer.

True enough - but I think that working out what we believe is the hardest part, and we're pretty close to getting there. (http://www.aspiesforfreedom.com/showthre...#pid190990). I've still got to swap the first and second points, but aside from that it seems to be getting the general thumbs up.

Putting forward ideas about what to do about it is the easy bit - next on the "to do" list, in fact. Finding people that are actually willing to do them is another story, but the list itself shouldn't be too hard...
