Okay, I know for a fact that at least two of the state legislators near the JRC oppose its treatment of people on the spectrum -- one of my close friends has worked as a campaign manager for both of them, and one had offices just down the block from the center, so it was a topic that came up a lot.  I'll see what I can find out in terms of specifics and contact information, but I think I recall her telling me that they were trying to sponsor more efforts to shut down the use of aversives there, and I'm sure that a letter-writing campaign on our part would be useful.  After all, I'm sure they hear plenty opposing stopping this horrible abuse from parents; they may not hear as much from our side.
