totally agree. if obama beliefs that water boarding is bad then surely he see the horror that JRC is doing is torture.

RE: Judge Rotenberg Center report - the horror is hard to read

I think this place is total bullcrap i know someone who was in this facility and it really messed her up. i just met this girl like on memorial day of 2009 and became very good with her and she is totally messed up. she jumps everytime i go up to her to comfort her cause she thinks that when she yells at me i go to comfort her by putting my arm around her and she thinks that i am going to try and restrain or choke her. this fear came from the staff at the place and i think that this place should be shut down. not only do they practice cruel and unusual punishment but they also dont know how to work through the students problems with them and give them counseling. they are totally irresponsible. the girl in the report that thaught she was going to recieve the vocational training and work through were emotional and behavorial problems is the girl i am talking about. i had the priviledge of meeting this exceptional woman and she is really messed up but she has a great mind but she is afraid to live in regular society due to this school. I repeat this school needs to be shut down. she not only got abused in the school she recieved even more emotional damage then she had before she went in.

That girl entered the center at age 19. JRC said that they only take minors as new students... hmmm...

That girl I was curious about, as well as Hilary Cook.

I wrote a letter to Obama (president@whitehouse.gov) telling him about all the punishments I could remember and all the infractions that get punished that I can remember.

Let's buy the JRC and expel all the staff. Then we can turn it into a safe haven for people like us where we can come and go as we please.

Genocide is defined as "any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, social, political, economic, intellectual, familial, genetic, or religious group, as such: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; [and] forcibly transferring children of the group to another group."

Oh, and of course we must change its name. Ernest Rotenberg does not deserve to be remembered.

What shall it be?

The Temple Grandin Center?
The Donna Williams Center?
The Nena Aragon Center?
The Michelle Dawson Center?
The Ari Ne'eman Center?
The Liane Willey Center?
The Daniel Tammet Center?
The Sarah Stup Center?
The Jim Sinclair Center?
The Birger Sellin Center?
The Marc Segar Center?
The John Elder Robison Center?
The Dawn Prince-Hughes Center?
The Jerry Newport Center?
The Heather Kuzmich Center?
The Luke Jackson Center?
The Bhumi Jensen Center?
The Amanda Baggs Center?
The Daantjie Badenhorst Center?

I would just destroy it completely once we have bought it.

"A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." (Albert Einstein)

Along with all that groovy furniture and the big arcade and those nice shiny rewards in the contract store?

What a perfect idea! Actually, we can just sell all that stuff, or auction it off, and we'll make a ton of money... "Couch from the torture chamber... any takers?" "Restraint chair from the Judge Rotenberg Center... starting at $1000!" Then we can buy an apartment complex, make sure it's safe to live in and turn it into an Aspergian Center!

My suggestion: Destroy the evil, or turn it in to a memorial for those who have died there.

We could turn it into a museum, like the concentration camps became museums and memorials to the people that died in them. We can charge admission (or just accept optional donations) to raise money for compensation for the victims.
