My Web Page and Comics

I recently got my own web page up and running. It contains comics I've drawn. Comics featuring "Bento & Starchky", the jetpack monkey and bipolar bear. Yessir, they're the Fred and Judy of comics! Or at least the Fred and Wilma. Um, or Dino and Gazoo? Whatever.

The comics in question feature my own "brand" of autistic "humor". Here's the adress: http://www.bentoandstarchky.com

Oh yeah; these comics are drawn under the name "zer0", which is the pseudo-- psudomyn-- psudodo-- argh, FAKE NAME that I use when drawing comics online.

Enjoy everyone! At least, so I hope.

  :!:  You made this site yourself??? The graphics are amazing, I'm stunned.

The comic strip pages are better than cartoons you see on tv!

Thank you very much! *bows deeply*

As for making it myself; yeah, art and drawing is my autistic "special interest". So this is pretty much what I'm good at here in life. Well, this and writing. Glad you like it!

You should really approach any companies to show them your work and try and go professional.

My mother tells me the same thing. Too bad I lack the required NT drive and/or people skills to begin considering how to even go about such a thing in the first place.

Funny comic. Just the right mix and type of wit, sillyness and dark comedy for my tastes.

I'd have thought 'going professional' (even if only as far as the professional webcartoonists, who somehow manage to have webcomics as their primary source of income) with that sort of thing would require less people skills than the average job interview, though. However, I wouldn't dream to seek to butt into your life, so I'm not going to say anything on the issue outside of this parragraph, unless invited. And it probably requires more drive than a regular job interview does anyway.

Peter, could you email people in the business to ask for their opinions. That's easier than doing something face to face or on the phone.

Thank you very much, all of you, for your kind feedback!

And, yeah, I have entertained thoughts of approaching people over the 'web with what I've drawn. I'm just not too sure about whom to approach.

If you want to do it by web, you can try to join a freelance portal.
