I would prefer to work part-time. I need to sleep alot if I work full-time. So then I would come home, eat and then go to sleep, no time for cleaning, cooking, laundry, no time for my family or interests. Then I would spend all work day thinking about all the activities that I was missing because I had to work. Eventually I would become depressed and sick from being totally exhausted all the time and usually get fired.
I have had extreme difficulty finding a part-time job because most of them are retail customer service which require "people skills" that I lack. I would like to work from home but I have no clue what I could do.

Yes. I work full time but find I get home too tired to do much in the way of housework. My employer is now not so keen on people working part time though, even though they are moving towards having more casual labour (not an option for me as I am on the permanent staff).

RE: working part time
The only problem with some part-time jobs is that they are not regular days or hours. They will call you -- can you come in this day or we don't need you this week because we are not busy. I need to have two or three regular days to work part-time, the same days every week so I can keep my schedule. Getting off my schedule is very upsetting to me as not having a routine is very stressful.

RE: working part time
Yes, that is a particular problem with casual hours. There are part time jobs with set hours per week too and they are far better for us than the casual work.
