Been trying to figure out this for about a week and it's driving me mad - what scale (if any) is it in?

The background riff is simple to play, but that main melody is frustrating as hell.

Any fellow aspie musicians got the melody line figured out?

It's in a minor scale.
If it was in, for example, A minor, it would be:

I've got the first phrase figured out already, but then i'm clueless where to go from there - even asked for help from my guitar tutor but he unfortunately doesn't watch dr who.

Then you'd want to play from the 17th fret on your B string. In E minor, The melody would be, ignoring the rhythm, something like this:

ECBD(E string)D(octave down, B string)E,
B(E string)GB(octave down, B string)DCB,
BABCB...
I'm doing this in my head, but I'll try it with my guitar later or make some proper sheet music, 'cause I've been wondering how it actually goes, too.

Have you figured it out yet, or would sheet music still be helpful?
