I've seen this music video late one night on VH1 classic and I think it was some sort of rock/pop song, but from what I do remember is that it was done by a group called "The Nathaniel's" or something like that and I think it was titled 'Nothing but a memory' which, judging from what little I could remember from the video, is one of those breakup songs.

Even though I do remember the name and title, Google seems to think I don't. So either the group/band who performed the song are one those rare and barely known names, or I'm not fully remembering the details....

So if this sounds familiar to you or you do know what song/group/band I am talking about, then I would be your bestest friend in the world

P.S. It's not a country song or piano song or anything like that. All I remember is some spiked haired blonde guy singing "nothing more/less/but ? a memory" ....

I'm usually good at finding a song i've heard from the radio many years later, thanks to what little intelligence I do have .... So please, don't guess and post a song based on the lyrics "little more than a memory" or anything. I've had this happened to me before and all it's doing is wasting my time.

I have little hopes that some AFF member would know exactly what song I'm talking about... :/

Well back on topic ....

It could be a number of bands or groups and I guess I'll just have try different variations of the name The Nathaniel's .... For example:

Nathaniel and the .... ?  
or name and the Nathaniels .... ?

I guess I'll just have to keep searching for it .... :/ There's even a harder song I'm still looking for with even less details of it that I know..... The problem is, there's a few songs I came across with a melody that almost sounds like the melody of the song I'm searching for .... So that's throwing me off, and another problem is the last time I've heard this song was from a mix tape or an ACDC tape that a friend of my Dad's had which was back when I was nine years old ... :/

There is an IPhone app that can name just about any song that it "listens" to for a few seconds. A friend of mine uses it and it works.

No idea about the Nathaniels, sorry. Based on my lack of success trying to google it, I guess that you are in for a hard time trying to find it.

This has happened to me before of where I'd get a new lead on a song and be able to find it using Google, but those times I got lucky and a few times someone has lead me to it... So that's why I decided to ask around ...

By-the-way, I like the sound of that Iphone app and it does sound very useful if it can tell you what song your listening to just by a few seconds .... Any chance that it could run on an Ipod touch ?
