USA not a free country?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl...DiathA-_Es

The video is 42 minutes longs. Scary stuff.

I wonder what laws we are actually breaking with normal things we do? Right now we are having our roof being replaced and we have all this pounding going on, I wonder if any cops will show up telling us we are breaking the law and we have to halt it because we are disturbing he peace, noise pollution lol.

RE: USA not a free country?

Older folks fully realise all of the freedom we have lost over the last 40 years.

Young folks dont realise the loss because they were never free.

Its sad.

RE: USA not a free country?

There are no free countries.  Capitalism creates and reinforces the oppression of the state, which creates and reinforces capitalism.

"Capitalism" doesn't do anything. It's people.

It's a system through which conditions and influences human behavior.  I know we take it for granted that capitalist modes of interaction are "natural human behavior" but there just is no natural human behavior.  It's all learned.  We have to learn how to function in a capitalist society.  We can learn how to function in a free society.

How come? Capitalism is an ideology, just like any other. Either you adhere to it, or you don't.
I think if you are from outside the USA, a very common ideology is anti-americanism, which claims to be anti-capitalistic, too.
I think all of those ideologies overrate the role of money in decision-making processes of average people (as opposed to investors).
