Informing students about AS/Autism (as in the truth)

So im really determined to teach people my age, older and younger about asperger syndrome and autism. Or maybe even other things like bipolar, depression, anxiety, or schizophrenia (the one where you imagine things and you're convinced they're real). But right now my main focus is AS/autism. So I was wondering what do y'all think are some good ways to teach kids at my school about the truth about autism/AS and why they're not bad?

Are you referring to your classmates? Or children in general?

First off, that's not even  close to what Schizophrenia Disorder is and secondly I think you need to do a little more research on some of these topics if your going to tell people that schizophrenics like me imagine things and think their real....

Here's a good place to start by-the-way, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophrenia....

By the way, I'm only a paranoid schizophrenic but there's other forms of and you need to stop generalizing the disorder based on things I said in the past ....

It's okay, I was only offended a little, but in my opinion I think you might want to do a little more homework on some of the topics you'll be sharing with your classmates and people in general ....

maybe you should spent a little time on this site to get the right idea about what Autism is and isn't, that way some of the damage already done by Autism Speaks can be fixed .... I apologize for snapping at you as I was sort of in a bad mood yesterday ... :/

I think the best way is to set an example, instead of just talking about something. Maybe it would be weird for yourself to take that role ... you could try to find someone adult on the spectrum who is prepared to talk to your class. Similar to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oral_history
