Awesome Autist Brain

Just saying...our brains are so cool. I dunno how, but I've been paying attention to the way my brain functions and Ive noticed two things so far:

1) Although intellectually I have (generally) a single pursuit (made up of many little pursuits), in terms of my place in society, I tend to change around a lot. I am so enthralled with information, that I really don't care what my contribution is to society is, which is something I am trying to hone in on-- Who am I? What will I contribute as a member of my family, my city, my country, the human race, planet earth, heliosphere, milky way galaxy, and entire universe?

2) My brain is like a super information processor. I take in a little information, and it gives me questions drawing from everything I can think of that is related to the issue at hand. Once the most poignant of questions are addressed, I begin crystalize ideas and applications come to me like "boom boom boom". (all the while, questions are continually generated).

Of course...for my brain to process, I must be interested/ motivated.

Therefore...I should say, that interests are not passive products of enjoyment...they are actually work, lots of mental work (for me at least).

My autism acceptance sig was too big and broke every single thread.

My son's brain is like a question generating machine. My goal is to teach him how to use google search so I don't get hit by half an hour of questions when I get home from work. Not that I mind... but I imagine that his already impressive general knowledge will grow exponentially once he works out how to find the answers to his own questions.
