Smile  My little gamers

They're playing games that now require a decent video card!  After homework and dinner, I let them game for an hour before baths and bed.

They like Portal 2 and Minecraft.  Any other suggestions?  They need to be E rated.  I like puzzle games that require problem solving.  Creative games are good, too.  Nothing that requires communicating with strangers.

Oh yeah, they're all about Nintendo games, including the classics Smile  I have my old N64 hooked up in the basement.  You know, for the kids Wink  Heh heh.

I agree, what about those games? Crash Bandicoot is one of my all time favorites, my favorite games in the series being the original and Warped. Over all, Playstation, Nintendo 64, and Dreamcast were all classic in my book. Smile

RE: My little gamers

I'm a gamer myself, I, however, prefer older consoles, such as Playstation and Nintendo 64. Wink

Kinda wish I had an old Super Nintendo so I could play around with this :

I've found the original ROM online for the test program/cartridge but forgot what's it called..

I'd also like to find out how to hack the Super Nintendo to get to the BIOS screen

Ive found a lot Tools that allows you to develop and manipulate the console Big Grin

Oh, yeah! As long as you get either the NES version or the Game Boy version. Those are by far the best.

Where I grew up there is a large population of eastern Europeans, so there is a beautiful Orthodox church every few miles.  My brother and I had no idea what they were.  We thought it had something to do with Tetris!  Then we found out that they were churches, so then we referred to them as the Tetris churches.

RE: My little gamers

I loved the old Yoshi Nintendo games, very cute with worlds made of stylized lounge room furniture, you could so see that's how a child's mind would work to turn a normal room into an adventure-filled place!  But it's probably hard to get that now.  You could try Big Fish Games, I'm with them, they have all levels of computer games, including the marble-poppers and my favourite, the hidden objects games.  I can't find the link at the moment, but if you google Big Fish Games it should come up.  You have to buy them, but they don't cost much and they're great fun to play.  I'd suggest for your kids that something like Tumble Bugs would be fun.  Your character Tumble has to save her little bugs from being captured by the evil Bug King, and it's a marble-pop game around several gardens in a suburban neighbourhood.

Yoshi is awesome Smile  They love Yoshi's Story for N64.

They're 6 and 8.  They're really into PC games right now, but so much of the selection is way too old for them.
