Man shoots own son dead in "burglary"

A U.S. man has mistakenly killed his 15 yr old son while investigating a "burglary" at his home.
The son was masked and was shot when he lunged at his father with a "shiny object", his identity was only revealed when his mask was removed afterwards.
No charges have been filed against the father.

The son sounds like he was an A-grade cretin to be honest. If somebody jumped out at me in my own home with a weapon, masked, I wouldn't hesitate to grab my guns and my sword and fill the *** full of steel and lead.
