Just watched Dr Who episode 2 from 2005

It had this actor as the Doctor

And from plastic mannequins  attacking earth....

to a trampoline  like being who is the last "last human" species

trying to sabotage the observation of the destruction of earth 500 billion years later in the future, I've been hooked.

Now I'm on episode 3 which is about travelling to 1860...

I think I can see why aspies like this serious and can relate to the doctor being an alien ..

Personally there's something I can't explain but I think I can get into doctor who as the story line had already got me hooked ever since the mystery of the doctor had intrigued me......

I think I'm a fan and I can't wait to see episode 4 Big Grin

But episode 2 isn't from 2005, it's from 1963 and involved cavemen, not Autons...

RE: Just watched Dr Who episode 2 from 2005

I think, if I'm not mistaking, I've watched Dr Who a little while back ago. on SciFi or Comedy Central but I'm not entirely sure... :/

I also think I used to imagine myself as the doctor as a kid that  lead to a lot of awkward memories back then ....

Yet again I was a strange kid as well too and even my kindergarten teacher suspected I might be Autistic because of my bizarre behavior... Imagine being that really awkward and weird classmate who said and did strange things that makes people wonder about him .... :/

I really think I'm strangest person AFF has ever known and the strangest person you'd ever meet...

David Tennant was the best but this new bloke certainly has a lot going for him and is as good if not marginally better than Tom Baker

I agree, not that it is a bad thing either way Smile

He wasn't my favorite doctor, but I liked him.  Tenant was my favorite, followed closely by the current doctor.  After all, bow ties are cool! Cool

Karen Gillan has all the other companions beat by a landslide.  I did not like the woman who played Donna at all, I can't believe they used her.  The woman who played Rose was just O.K.  I liked the idea of Martha's character, being an actual doctor instead of a flimsy female character, but they made her personality all flimsy because she was so smitten with the doctor.  If they had taken Martha's brilliance and combined it with Donna's emotional independence from the doctor, now that would have been a decent companion.

Rory and Sarah Jane were the best. Martha was hot...I mean very good and Rose was a bit of alright,...I mean rather talented

I loved Donna Noble, and I also enjoy Catherine Tate.  Am I bovvered tho?  Look at my face, look at my face, is my face bovvered?  I AIN'T BOVVERED!

Also, "Silence in the Library" was hella creepy, and part two was even creepier.

I'm also a huge fan of Matt Smith's doctor.  I don't think the world will ever forget him standing there wearing a fez and holding a mop.  I know I won't.

RE: Just watched Dr Who episode 2 from 2005

That mannequin episode flipped me out.  I used to be terrified of mannequins.  I still find them creepy.  *shivers*

The first weeping angels episode was my favorite scary one, but Silence in the Library was good.

Fezzes are cool!!!

RE: Just watched Dr Who episode 2 from 2005

I think the weeping angels were good for a scare both times.

I didn't have a problem with the mannequins.  I thought they were awesome.  There was that one twilight zone episode, though, about the mannequins that, I think if I had seen it as a young person, it probably would have changed the whole mannequin thing for me.
