Got the sound cracked, but still annoyed at the EPG data:
Remember, I can still easily record stuff manually - how on earth does this stop piracy?

So, i've had to mess around to get sound working, but it now works (turns out that it was due to dynamic codec changes). Now I just have the last one:
Encrypted EPG - why?

I mean once they copy the movies or television shows it goes to a Warezdoods (warehouse) website where anyone can download them for free or at a small cost.
Though I don't see the harm in reselling the movies or shows for a fraction of the price of department stores ....
In theory, someone who pays the license fee could upload a show which someone who doesn't pay the license fee would then be able to download.
Of course in practice, encrypting the TV guide does nothing to stop this, and if anything making it difficult to watch the live broadcast just encourages illegal downloads.
