There's this girl named Heather Kuzmich from America's next top model who claims to have Asperger's syndrome.

I'm not sure if she fake or not but here's a second opinion of Heather Kuzmich from an interview on Access Hollywood.

I personally love her looks and think she's attractive but I fer that she's stocked up and snobby.

I'm not sure :/ Here's A tribute to Heather Kuzmich but America's Next Model has nothing to do with the modeling world instead of stupid a** challenges that are pointless.

So is she fake or real ? I'm not sure cause I'm drunk and can't really think right now  because I'm obvious know I'm under the influence of alcohol so please forgive me if this thread is pointless or just awkward...

I think this thread is just another example of the animosity a lot of people with AS have towards other Aspies who are relatively successful in society. No, she's not fake.

Appearing stuck up and snobby is not exclusively an NT trait.

I've never seen the show so I can't really comment beyond that.

She seems very pleasant, and obviously struggles with some elements of modelling.

I don't see any reason to doubt her diagnosis.

I find it aggravating how often female aspies have their DX questioned.  Find any female aspie on youtube, and someone is going to question their DX, call them fake, accuse them of attention seeking, etc.  One girl did an entire video reply to this because it had upset her a great deal.  Often, the perpetrators are other aspies who should know better than to expect a stereotype from people on the spectrum.  It doesn't seem to sink in that, just like NTs, male and female aspies are very different.  Rudy Simone has a great list of female specific traits on her web site.

Never heard of her, but I don't see any reason to doubt it in the video.

Her face is like mine. Only the mouth moves when she's talking. My mother loves pointing that out about me.

I don't really find her attractive but she does have "the look" that high fashion models have which isn't pretty but unusual.

I saw her "live" on the show (the year she was on ) I do not doubt her AT ALL>What social skills (graces) others took for granted - she was  clueless about - her face, at rest, makes her "look" disinterested or snobby (Until I figured out to plater a non-commital/pleasant expression - some thought (perhaps though I was clueless) that I was snobbish... (I saw pictures of myself.. I recall being happy but looked unhappy).

Anyway - she seemed nice to me.

She didn't seem stuck up or snobby to me, but she was accused of that for getting compliments on her performance. She definitely didn't let anything get to her head. You must be micro analyzing, and doing it wrong.

I'm not trying to make excuses cause I d*mn well know what I said was wrong and I shouldn't had judged this Heather Kuzmich as a fake.

I liked her quiet a lot. And understood the social or lack of social communication, and yet still ploughing through and giving things your best shot.

Saw that season in 2008 and enjoyed it because of her. Never watched another season before or sense. I have kept tabs on her sense the season ended, and she now has a modeling career in Chicago IL as well as a BS in Video Game programming. In a nutshell, she rocks...
