The candy man

You will be happy..... on pain of death!

This old stuff is far sillier than the new Dr Who, can't imagine torchwood having anything to do with it.

So is old Trek, but there is something special about the original, even if it is a bit cheesy.

RE: Remastering old videos at home

I could never stand TOS apart from the trouble with tribbles and the movies, old Dr Who is a mix from what i've watched so far - it seems the VERY old stuff (60s) is far less silly as it seemed to take itself more seriously.

I can't get DH to watch TOS either.  You just have to, it is some kind of nerd right of passage or something!

Thou shalt suffer through the cheesiness of TOS, or other nerds shall smite thee with witty trek quotes which thou shalt be confused by.

I loved the episode of DS9 that used the old footage from The Trouble with Tribbles Big Grin  Awesome.  I love how they made fun of the turbolift handle thingies and the difference in Klingon appearance.

Next up is watching old Dr. Who, I have to get my hands on some.

Yeah. Maybe it is the legacy it left? The overall originality of it or I dunno. It had a spark...

I'm a geek, not a nerd - although i'm becoming more of a nerd as of late.

Yes, there's a distinction

Damn, this is what Doctor Who used to look like? I can't watch that.

I always wonder why
When you look down into my eyes
My feeling swiftly changed between happiness and sorrow
And tears begin to fall
I’m not you and you are not me
But your pain becomes my pain
When you are sad, I’m the one who foolish cry
When you are wounded, my heart is hurt more
