Hello There, Guest! (Login — Register)
Lauren and I are fans of the Australian show Rockwiz, which is a fun show about rock music over the years. It's a quiz-style show with audience participation and guests every week, held at the Esplanade Hotel in Melbourne. It also travels Australia, and we've seen one show live and have tickets for the next one that comes to Canberra. Last night we watched a special on an Aspie man (they called him a savant, but I tend to think he was just very, very good at his subject) who went on the show. It was interesting, so I thought I'd leave the link here for anybody who might want to watch it:

I'd love to see you there!
I should add, we saw the Rockwiz show when he appeared a couple of years ago (this special doesn't screen the show itself, it's more a behind-the-scenes documentary).

When I click on the link, it says that the content is unavailable.
That seems to be the only link I have for the doco. There are promos on youtube but they're only a few minutes long. Every other link takes me back to the Australian SBS site. Can anybody else overseas access this?

Barry jones, who blitzed every quiz going then went into politics, strikes me as a likely aspie.
Also most likely Professor Tim Flannery and John Doyle. Anybody who saw their interaction in the show "Two Men in a Tinny" where they investigated the state of the Murray-Darling river system would incline towards that view, I think. And John Doyle has autism in his family, his younger sister is autistic.

I think it was nice of her to send us the link, seeing as the one I had didn't work for a lot of our overseas members. It's definitely worth a look.
