Lol that reminds me sg1008, of when I used to imagine the inside of a computer as some mega city out of the movie "Judge dredd" and use some action figures to act out scenes from that movie ....   


Oh just for fun, you have different types of computer chips. The mains ones are:

1. memory
2. CPU processing
3. Clocker
4. Logical  

memory chips holds data either temporary or permanent then the CPU processing chips processes data as the clocker acts like the heart sending out osculating electrical pulses to "move" data through the buses and the logical acts like a side kick to the CPU processor (I think) ....

I could go into more details of the different chips and what else they do but I would post a loong post....

I only have A+ certification, but I had 7 years in the field doing repairs

I only went maybe eight months taking a computer repair class at a Votech in Hughes Oklahoma when I lived in Antlers...

The only thing I learned was to p*ss off my teacher and convert any number up to 255 into binary then into hexadecimal, but I forgot how to do it in reverse thought :/  Funny how using Linux for two and a half years had taught me more of how computers worked than that stupid class...
