I meant for government purposes, or maybe cooperations in general.... I honestly don't know where I want to go to career wise....

.....That's what she said.
Chris Christie is so fat, I was giving a presentation and he ate my pie charts.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

That's not what I meant, there's a career where you could get paid to test network securities for corporations and governments :/ I never meant for it to be sexual reference I'm sorry......

ConLang was just injecting some innuendo into the discussion.

RE: Does Computer Security lead to anywhere?
Oh okay.....
network security is something I want to get into but first I want to learn Linux to the point that people would come to me for answers to their questions (like the majority of Linux users here).
I've only been using Linux for two years now and I'm to the point of never using Windows as my main operating system again. Now that I have found something to satisfy my love of tinkering with machines I could never ever go back....
There's also something I heard called MITT or ITT which I think it has something to do with network security and the internet altogether ? :/

And the Internet leads to a magical land where Trolls are real and monsters do exist. There's also unicorns, Harry Potter ,Religion and all your fantasies will come true in this virtual Narnia world
Edit: I took out the reference of online Nazi's so I don't offend anyone or break any forum rules....

RE: Does Computer Security lead to anywhere?
Okay, now I get the question.
Yes, there are careers in computer security. I would look into what sort of certifications are available.

RE: Does Computer Security lead to anywhere?
As long as there is the potential for hacking, viruses, trojans, or any type of malware, there will always be jobs in computer security. I don't know how open or saturated the field might be right now, though.
