Wanted to share my favorite stim adaptation.

I make noises all the time...almost constantly...if its not one sound its another, but for the past few years I have been beat boxing which is realllllly relaxing because #1, it sounds good to me and to others, and #2, I get to make many noises without being as annoying....that includes those that resemble "sampled" sounds/speech that I can repeat, remix, rehash, and scratch instantly.

I tend to make hip hop and dance beats a lot. Sometimes I do other genres, but hip hop is the most creative for me.

I think I am getting pretty good at it too.. I love doing it SO much I dont even need headphones because I can tune in to my own "radio".

Anyone else like to beat box?

Neat!  

Middle kiddo is always making music, he calls it his radio.  Sometimes he'll let me change stations!  Its an adorable stim.  Definitely better than  banging toys or other objects together, that's his other favorite stim.  

Have you seen Yo Gabba Gabba?  Biz Marky does a segment on the show called "Biz's Beat of the Day."  Too fun.  

I tend to hum as a stim when I'm particularly stressed.

Lol, just watched some of Biz's beat of the day.

I also like drumming on things a lot.
