Hello There, Guest! (Login — Register)
I have a dog, and I like just about everything about her. She is very smart, and has quite a personality, but she is also sweet, likes to cuddle, and gives me hugs and kisses all the time. She is also a ferocious squirrel hunter and can out run all the dogs at the dog park.
I at one point had a German Shepherd named Athena, who was the other survivor from a liter of 8, in which only 2 survived.
When she was a new born baby, she really loved sleeping on my chest and listening to my heart beat. Eventually she got a little bigger and we had moved into an apartment complex which we had the top house.
I think she took after me in some weird way cause she absolutely hated heights and I remember having to carry her down a couple flights of stairs just to take her out.
Well the land lord told us that she couldn't live with us and she took her off our hands. One day however she got loose and we never saw her again....
I really miss that dog and believed she was my dog
My first bird was quite a character, his name was Jack, I had him since second grade but he passed on from an accident when I was first starting out High School. This little guy was always attacking anything that was yellow, even a doll that shook that made it look like it was having a seizure..... He always liked to go on people's shoulders.... he hated getting on fingers unless he had too.
The three that I have now.... they're worth keeping, and I love them for their own unique personalities.
This is them about two years ago.... if I had a decent camera I would of made a better photo then this.

I love dogs. I had a labrador as a kid, he was awesome. And I looked after a guide dog puppy, a Golden Retriever, about 12 years ago - he was awesome as well.
We are living in an apartment now. My kids really want a puppy (so do I), but that will have to wait until we are living in a house.

I always wanted a dog as well.... yet my mom isn't the type of person to convince about it, shes fine with the Birds, the Rabbit, and Titian the Siamese Fighting Fish.... thats about it.

I have my beautiful cat Jazz (sadly her brother Jack died a while back) and she's the sweetest little thing going. She even tolerates the baby! Thats a big ask, trust me
I've got Ky, my lurcher collie cross and Harry, a dipstick collie. Both loyal and adorable dogs.
And seven adult ferrets, Blue, Big Bear, Squealer, Bessie, Daisy, Rosy and Sammy. ALL the girls are giving birth as we speak, 8 babies and counting! Blue is my special boy, he "talks" to me
So 18 pets and counting at 00:49, we'll see what the morning brings!
When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple with a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves and satin candles, and say we've no money for butter.I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired and gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells and run my stick along the public railings and make up for the sobriety of my youth.I shall go out in my slippers in the rain and pick the flowers in other people's gardens. And learn to spit...
I am considering getting a Roomba as an indoor pet
It would be nice to have a pet that cleans up after me
Instead of me cleaning up after it
That reminds me of one of the things I like about my dog.
She does clean up (after us). NEVER do we ever have any food crumbs anywhere. She is a live vacuum.
Roombas are neat! My aunt loaned one to my parents after my mom had her heart attack a couple years back. Worked well, but it was fascinating to watch.
