Looks to me like Captain Juigglypuff just took the joke too seriously. It happens from time to time.

What I want for Christmas is for people to pay more attention to halloween and thanksgiving. They are much better holidays.

I gave my dad coal once for Christmas as a joke. He kept teasing my stepsister the first year she celebrated the holiday and after moving to the US with her mom about Santa giving her coal if she didn't behave. I did it as a sort of ironic gift. I also used real coal and not the charcoal for a grill.
