I was wondering if anyone else on this site liked writing your own parody or spoof of your favorite or childhood favorite song.  

Like for example, remember the old Pokemon series ? And remember that catchy theme song that went along with it? This is a childhood favorite of mine cause I was like 8 or 9 when Pokemon was starting to get popular here in America. I so do miss them trading cards

Anyways, here's a little parody I wrote with the Pokemon theme song. This parody is about Pokemon hysteria and one huge fan who'd do anything to get every Pokemon card available and to become the very best......

Please tell me what you think about it and maybe also post suggestions on what I could do to make it even more better, or funnier. You could post your own version or a little parody you wrote yourself if you like

Well there it is folks, my very first song parody I ever wrote.

I read that while listening to the song and I find it amazing and hilarious xD
Sadly, I'm not creative with things like these so I can't help you :/

was never a big pokemon collector myself but i enjoyed the show

Thank you I wrote this one night when I was listening to it and was thinking of way of making it funny. There's a few more I'm working on, some of contain potty jokes and some not, but I'll post them when I'm done and everything

(Note) I'm a huge 007 James Bond fan, but this is a parody of my least favorite James Bond movie. I mean I like every movie up to Daniel Craig (HE'S NOT BOND!) but this is the one I want to have some fun with, also note the last verse I was talking about that anticlimactic fight scene that involved a blimp and the Golden State Bridge and stupidity at it's best   

A VIEW TO KILL (PARODY):

We went to see,
a view to a kill
ugly faces, a lot of places, what the hell?

I don't know where the plot is going, but

The first song I rewrote was based on Cult of Personality by Living Colour, Multiple Personality....

I used to write parodies of songs I enjoyed, and submit them to amiright.com. I stopped after I got one too many bad reviews and lost interest; it was hard to compete with everyone else.
