Hello There, Guest! (Login — Register)
Here is a question for Kaiadas: You want to ask this girl why she is depressed?
Quote:
A Belgian mother has posted video on Facebook of her teenage daughter being attacked in the hopes of stopping her bullies.
In the video, 13-year-old Kayleigh sits at a bus stop while a group of bullies taunt her.
Kayleigh, who has an autism spectrum disorder, does her best to ignore the taunts before a 15-year-old girls kicks, slaps, headbutts and pulls her by the hair.
"A reminder for later," one bully said at the end of the ordeal, Belgian news magazine Knack reports.
One of the bullies posted the video on YouTube but quickly removed it.
"My heart broke when I saw the video," the girl's unnamed mother said.
"As parents we were in shock."
The mother posted the video onto her Facebook page with her daughter's permission in a bid to stop any further attacks.
The video has now been shared 70,000 times in a matter of days, with the community rallying around the victim's family.
Police in the West Flanders town of Roeselare are now investigating the attack, and the bullies now risk expulsion from their school, where the victim also goes.
This is obscene - the bullies involved "now risk expulsion"?
All things considered, this should be the least of their problems. They should be fearing far more severe punishment than that.

Something tells me I should be shocked by this, but quite frankly I'm not. Why?
It happens all the time, we're just good targets. That they recorded it doesn't shock me either. Why? Because bullies who pick on people because "they're good targets" or different than them are the worst kind of people. They'd at least fit into the top tens anyway for "the worst groups of people in the world"
The Nazis killed people because they "inferior" which is their version of different. So yeah, how do you feel now society? Bullies fit into the same category as people who committed genocide.
By that I mean they cause harm to those that are "inferior" to them and they're both sick, twisted people. But unlike Nazi Germany the bullying will never be stopped. They're will always be bullying.
By politicians towards their people, by people in the workplace, schools ect. So yeah, bullying is far much more than what a majority of society thinks it is, let alone Kaiadas.
I'm not going to scream Godwin just because Some_Bloke mentioned it.... its just that everyone (including myself) actually understand the point he just made....

Hm... At least the bullies are getting some kind of punishment (and not a slap on the wrist). My bullies just got slap on the wrists (this is a metaphor now). I been beaten up on a school bus in six grade and taunted by my peers in seventh, by the time eighth grade came rolling by... I didn't even bother telling people I was bullied because no one would do a thing.
At least this teen got some kind of justice, not really justice but at least her tormentors were punished per se.
What happened to her was sad and might have emotionally scarred her like it did me. Sorry for my whining and seeming like I was heartless.

Ah she had her daughters permission... good I was worried that that might embarrass her daughter.
Yeah, school=protection for some reason.
I always wonder why
When you look down into my eyes
My feeling swiftly changed between happiness and sorrow
And tears begin to fall
I’m not you and you are not me
But your pain becomes my pain
When you are sad, I’m the one who foolish cry
When you are wounded, my heart is hurt more
And when the kids who are bullied fight back, they're expelled and possible charged! Do you know WHY? Because it's usually US or the workers ADHD being picked on! Because NTs are SCARED of us. For no **** reason. Not all, but alot of them are. The fear is the same as other xenophobias like racism and homophobia. So I'm basically in 2 of the 3 xenophobias and they're the ignored ones.

I don't know about being scared. It's like the term homophobia.. they're not ACTUALLY scared of gay people.
I just won't accept the statement that a lot are scared, I can't fathom it in the first place. Scared of what? Being ... idk.. stimmed on? Busting out with random superhero powers? This takes scared of the unknown to a different level... I feel that phrase would better be used for some kind of random black hole you know nothing about or something that appears to be a monster or a new never seen before animal.

They always said "I was only joking with him" when somehow it sounded serious.... I find that my bullying in High School was only the direct result of utter stupidity.

I don't think so. The bullies are the ones that do it when the teachers aren't looking. (Usually. I can remember one time that I can't really explain.) We also don't tend to exaggerate so much when we tell someone what happened. I also remember reading that until fairly recently, the official policy for dealing with bullying against autistic students is to do nothing, because either they don't have feelings or it will encourage them to be normal.
