The first speech was absolutely amazing, I wish I had something like that when I graduated high school.....

I've just listened to it and in short I like it, haven't listened to the second speech yet.

RE: David McCullough`s commencement speech

I thought it was great, and with the way middle schools have made a huge deal about kids leaving for high school, that message definitely applies. I live about a block away from a middle school, and on the last day of the school year, my street is full of cars from parents there for their child's ceremony that they had to move from the auditorium when I was in middle school, to the field because every parent now shows up.

I agree that it was also a great speech for high school students and especially parents to hear, since there are times when parents get so loud when their special snowflake's name gets called that those behind that person don't get to hear their names called.

lol. They arrest you in the county I live, if you applaud or make noise during the cermony. Everyone is allowed to applaud and carry on together at the end of the ceremony.

There are at least 2 or 3 arrests a year
