If these words provide any comfort; so many of the most dangerous creeps of the world draw women to them (are the classic "babe magnets") rather than the other way around.  Such gals only find out too late when the perpetrators true colors are revealed.  Contrast this to gals walking or running away from us just because we might be emination subtle, nonverbal vibes that we might be romantically interested.  This kind of rejection is indeed demoralizing but try not to give up hope.  Yesterday I was at a cookout talking with a male relative about dating and getting dates; and his philosophy is that there is somebody for everybody.  Different things make different people tick, float their boat, etc.  While most women might be turned off by your natural, default mannerisms, there might be the rare gal who thinks your traits are cute.  This guy was saying there are some women who actually think a (new) guy's traits of being shy are attractive.

It's easier to be confident in a situation where you don't care much about the people around you. The advantage that creeps have is that they don't care about other people, there are billions of people in the world, if people in one are get to know how awful they are then they can just move. However if there is someone who matters to you and you want to impress them then acting confident is not easy.

Online dating is probably the best thing for Aspie guys. You can get to know the girl a bit before talking to her, so you won't be quite so nervous when talking to her and if you do get nervous she'll hopefully already like you enough to persevere.

It seems that the portion of the female population that likes Aspie guys is about the same as the male Aspie population. So you can find someone, it's just a matter of time and effort.

They umm... don't? o_OSo idk how I could answer this question for you, it's a sexist fallacy to be quite honest, generalizing females like that. Seeing all the kinds of couples that exist I am sure that someone with Asperger's could find girls that want to date them, there are 'high standards' people and people that are just fine, like how people with AS differ (so if there was someone who thought someone was a creep for AS symptoms there'd be some who they don't think are) holding this kind of ridiculous stereotype of girls just hurts you.

Women I think like to be friends unless something attracts them deeper. Looks are a compelling reason for a vast majority of them.

mels8780: Guys on the spectrum generally have enough bad experiences to outweigh the positive experiences, especially as they might not notice girls who like them. So the "always treat us like creeps" is probably what redelman431 experienced, even though an objective assessment of things that happened may differ.

Shrek: Any casual examination of magazine topics or the appearance of groups of people reveals that being thin is MUCH more important for women than for men. If men needed to lose weight to get a date then I'd be seeing magazines and TV ads for men to lose weight and the general trend in the straight male population would be to be a lot fitter. The fact that men tend not to make much of an effort in dieting indicates that they don't need to.

There are women who care about men's appearance, but the general trend is that they don't mind as much.

The most important thing is to do what you want your potential girlfriend to do. If you want to date a girl who looks like she spends all her spare time at the gym then spend all your spare time at the gym!
