Just imagine the devil mask a few shades lighter, and without the horns.

I don't think the devil one looks THAT evil.

RE: My masks I made
Are all these mask made from clay and then lamented and then painted, or paper/cardboard/others ? Their all really good, I especially love the devil mask They remind me of the times when we do this one project in art class, where we'd take a balloon and add stripes of paper with paste to them till they had the desired shape, then we'd let them dry. After wards we'd paint them. Art class was always so much fun

RE: My masks I made
I made them from plaster strips in cloth. You dip them in hot water a rub them so the plaster bits become smooth. You either apply them to a face model or a person's face. It dries and hardens. I used aluminum foil to make the shape of the raised parts like the horns and ears.

RE: My masks I made
That's cool I'd like to start doing art projects like the ones I remember back in Art class...
Maybe I could take up making mugs and cups... I remember you shape your clay into the desired shape, then paint it. after the paint dries you take it and put it in an oven for 12 to 2 days (forgot how long and the word for it) then it comes out all glossed and beautiful
Sketching is my main interests right now and as soon as I find a scanning machine I can post some of my art work on here for people's enjoyment...
