from the salad goddess....

I got this recipe from Dr.Oz's show, but I added my own twist to it.

1 bag of romaine lettuce, 4 oranges (cut and peeled), two avacado (cut into pieces)
Mix all ingredients together.

You can feel free to add nuts to the mix.

If you want dressing here are your options to dress it:

Olive oil, with lightly sprinkled black pepper and salt to taste.
Or
Olive oil with lightly sprinkled Nature seasoning (includes pepper, garlic, onion and celery seasoning).

I tried the salad, with oil and ground black pepper and enjoyed it Smile.

Its also good to pair with wild caught salmon for a side dish.

My mil uses canned mandarin oranges.  She also adds dried cranberries, grape size tomatoes but no avocado.  I find that avocado is difficult to find and ripen properly where I live.  

I like a salad of shredded cabbage and carrots with a creamy dressing.  I guess most would call that coleslaw.  

I do not like raw broccoli in salad because it promotes gas.

Raw brocoli is better, to me, by itself. I had to cut down on it though because of bloating.
