Spectrum- Labyrinth
your character (known as a Blob) navigates through a magical labyrinth collecting puzzle points, where some things make sense, and some don't. One way to figure out what makes sense is to find clues/assistance in secret locations from fairy-like creatures called "normies" who are willing to help.
Many dangers (called "Speaks" and "Judges") await you, and if you manage to collect enough points you can power up and receive extra assistance/clues to get you to the next part of the labyrinth.
Unfortunately, if you don't power up, you will receive no assistance and be left wandering through the labyrinth alone.

Spectrum II- Jungle Takeover
In this version, the blob now has to wander through a jungle collecting puzzle points, where Speaks have apparently invaded and held many blobs hostage. They are preparing to decode the blob scrolls and use their knowledge to destroy blobs once and for all. The goal is to warn the High Manualizer and reclaim the blob scrolls which will tell you how to free your fellow blobs. Unfortunately, if you do not get there in time, the High Manualizer will be kidnapped by Speaks, and a decree made that will make it even more difficult to power up and contact normies for clues.
All the while you must battle Judges who, though they have no alliance with the Speaks, still are a threat and force to be reckoned with....
