Model gundams [Warning: lots of pics]

I finally just got these moved onto my computer. I apologize for the quality in some of them. I was learning to use the low-light setting on my 3DS.

RE: Model gundams [Warning: lots of pics]

I am very jealous. The 1/144 Dendrobium is high on my list of models I want but can in no way afford.

Just how much of a brick is the FA Unicorn, anyway? The OVA ver. is enough of a brick, before all those extra weapons, not to mention the tanks...

Well, I suppose I should share, now.

1/100 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam

1/144 RG RX 78-2

Scale comparison

1/144 NG GNX-9900 (before paint - it's a 1997 model, so a bit crap).

I also have a Titans colours RMS-106 Hi-Zack, but it's too dark to get a good picture of the Hi-Zack tonight.

Planning on getting either a 1/144 HGUC ῦ, 1/100 MG Sinanju or  1/144 HGUC Sazabi next. Maybe an RG RX-178 Gundam MK II.

Oh also, put the FA RX-0 under a Blacklight in NT-D mode.

And yes I'm aware that the sides of the head on my RX-0 were back to front, and the ankleplates keep falling off because it hates me.

The only reason I could afford it was I got about $1300 back from the government. I also got the Fazz, Ex-S, and Gouf in the same order. Needless to say, I had quite a nerdgasm when it arrived.

I'm not entirely certain what you're asking, but the box is about 15 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 5 1/2" (too lazy to convert to metric at the moment). It's armed with two beam magnums, two hyper beam javelins, three shields, six beam gatling guns, four beam sabers, several hand grenade, and two hyper bazookas (each with six hand grenades, three anti-ship missiles, and a grenade launcher). In addition, there are the huge boosters, with supports to hold them up, and that flight system you can see in one of the pics.

RE: Model gundams [Warning: lots of pics]

If a model is a brick, it's something that is difficult to pose, balance or has poor range of movement. The GNX-9900 is a brick, because it has a horrifically poor range in the ankles and hips (ankle polycap is the other way round to modern kits, the hip-leg joints are not deep enough and are too far recessed to allow a decent range) - as such, it's difficult to put it into natural poses.

The weapon outfitting on the FA is absurd. That is a horrific amount of dakka.
