I seem to be putting on weight at a ridiculous rate, and notice that this all began last year with the onset of post nasal drip.

Sometimes after. A workout, my cough is so bad that its constant. Or I even cough more during a workout.

My doctor says its caused by allergies, and that the weight gain is a normal part of growing into an adult. However, I am really unpleased with it. Its almost making me disgusted.

Sleep apnea is correlated to weight gain. It is then made worse by weight gain.

Have you ever tried a netti pot?

I have found that using a regular sauce pan filled with water brought to a boil and a towel over the head and the face held close to the steam works wonders on nasal congestion. though i wouldn't recommend it for people with asthma unless directed to do so by your primary care physician. as for the netti pot i have seen these sold for around $15 to $20.00 in a local grocery store in the town that i live in however i have never used one i imagine it works on the same principles...?

I agree with this. A year or two ago my ex tried to get my boy who was for wwant of a better word a little portly, on a low fat diet. I freaked out. Hell no. I told my friend (Tigger the Wing) about it and she made an acute observation. 'He is all leg. Looks to me he has a bit of growing to do'
She was right he is now taller than me and almost as big. he is 15.
