its kind of the problem i dont understand really do i have the disorder or am i just strange

i find it very hard to get my self into things that i am uncertain of

and this is one of them cause i do have an autistic brother

i am 29 and hes 18 so i am not sure what should i do at this point

If you are an aspie, keep in mind that nothing about you changes. You're still a valid person, and yes, probably a little strange (most of us are). I suggest looking around the site some to find out what it really means from our point of view.

thats the thing i am still unsure if i am or not

i am skeptic about this test if its 100% accurate about me

the questions i answered are typical me and my result being "you are very likely an Aspie" is something i am unsure how to react upon
as i have a hard time expressing this new fact about my self

my brother was tested and diagnosed as having autism by YAI  
but i dont have insurance to have the same thing done to my self to see what help
can be done for me as i have a hard time struggling with real life issues
and i wouldnt know where to start seeking for help

The thing is no test will be 100% accurate. It isn't an official diagnosis, but I'd say the result you got here is enough to identify as an aspie if you choose to.

would i be able to use these results to a therapist to determine whether or not i do have signs

i also have IEP from my schooling as i was a special ed student
with low social skills

idk i seek help cause i am lost in the world and have no concept of work or social gain as told by family and some friends
as my family dont understand Autism they are still coping with the fact my lil brother has it but they see me as normal
in witch i am confused cause i cant really tell what is normal with all these ppl killing ppl and ppl hurting others feelings (such as bulling)
and i dont know what to do cause i am lost on how to go about these things all i know is computers and music

The aspie quiz is not an official diagnosis, and cannot be used to get benefits. Although, I'm not sure you actually need a diagnosis to see a therapist.

If you do need benefits or supports, the IEP might help with that.

is there any information on how to go about getting support and or benefits

my brother dont receive any but he has the papers given by YAI to start getting if we apply

as for me i guess i would have to get a diagnosis first like you wrote before i can follow the same steps
as i would be doing for my brother now

The aspie quiz might likely help with a diagnosis. I took in a picture I drew of myself and that seemed to get the psych's attention more than any other of the items that he used to assess me.

I was DXed a second time as part of a nutritional study I am participating in at a university. That was free.

The DX is a judgement call, not a definitive thing. Everyone is on the spectrum, just in different places.  A DX just helps to sort things out. The more I have things sorted out the better I am able to function at my job and socially. I don't get any benefits.

It's amazing. You do something to come across as a child and all of a sudden, the professionals are willing to entertain the idea that you might be different.

well ever since elementary school i use to be seen by the school base support team idk what that stood for and till this day i dont know what it was for

but they did evals on me quite often and test me with cubes and things i cant remember now
but each year would be the same or different type of tests

now i have some to lil of my IEP reports but unsure what they classified me as

idk how if i was like this as a child but i never did like celebrating my birthday after i turned 22
i didnt know how to feel or act infront of a group let alone know what to say but "thanks"

It's not a disorder. You don't 'have' anything, in the same way that you don't have 'left-handed disorder' or 'liking movies disorder'. You are autistic. It's something you are, not something you have.

Probably. I mean how many adult NTs do you suppose bring drawings that they made themselves to show the psychologist? Not saying there's anything wrong with it, but that's probably how it was seen.
