They seem to expect blind trust/blind obedience. And then they say the AS kids are like that? That is themselves; they should look in the mirror; they are acting like brats yourselves! They didn't express their opinion about those kids in a respectful manner... THEY are acting like kids. Aspies are brats though. To me, it doesn't matter what NTs do, because an aspie is probably being worse somewhere.

Oh please, I have seen brats of ALL neurotypes. If you ask me, most brats I know are NT. I'm not NT bashing, I just don't appreciate you brushing us with these ignorant stereotypes.

I work with NT kids, they're great. I know you just want to pretend aspies are better. and none of them are stereotypes.

Forgive me for being so engrossed in the progress of Autism Awareness, that I nearly forgot about the sheer ignorance that still exists.

However, I thank you for reminding me how ignorant society is.

I have worked with children in a classroom setting, as an assistant teacher. And let me tell you about the wild, disrespectful behaviour I witness. Not only that, these children liek to bully the children in the classroom that they percieve as being 'different. There was one autistic child in the classroom, who was routinely bullied by these badxxx children who had absolutely no respect whatsoever.

Do you enjoy us painting negative stereotypes for NTs? then recognise that aspies/auties have just as much right to be appreciated for their differences as you people do.

I work with kids of all neurotypes. Some are great, and some are brats. neurotype really has nothing to do with it.

Aspies aren't better. Aspies are just different.

Different isn't a good thing in this case.

How do I know you work with kids?

How do I know you aren't some troll, coming to start trouble?
Better yet, how do I know you even know ANYTHING about Autism Spectrum Disorders?

Alright, you worked with kids, I'm not sure why you want to, or why they'd let an aspie around kids but you do.

Because Aspies/Auties are just as capable of working ANY job an NT can work. Why is that so hard for you to comprehend?

I just wouldn't trust them around kids, I don't even trust myself around kids.
