The church is supposed to have an influence in the community."

LOL. They want to hold on so bad, they'll say that gays chose to be gay. Even though, they themselves being straight couldn't turn around and just go "Hey, I think I'll be attracted to girls/guys", they say that everyone that's gay chose it.
