Possible religious test? (I'm Christian by the way)
Ok so this is how it went. I was walking out of a Walgreens store and I saw this poor man, most likely homeless, had a short beard and was in an electric chair and it looked like he didn't have much control of his muscles. Anyways he was holding a sign and the only really "legible" word on there that wasn't all scribbly or upside down was the word "GOD" and it was in the middle. So I felt really bad so I checked my pockets and all I could find on me was a 5$ bill so I got it out and gave it to him and then he said "I can float" in a not so clear dialect (it seemed hard for him to talk) then I got back to my car and saw him rolling away and I looked forward for a sec to start my car and the second I look back the chair was near the other side of the parking lot about 20 feet from where he was previously and it was empty and no sign of him anywhere it's as if he vanished considering I looked away for about 3 seconds and there is no way he could have ran or even walked for that matter and I even got out of my car to get a better look (im 16 years old and male just to let you guys know) so please tell me what you guys think about this experience I had. Thanks!

RE: Possible religious test? (I'm Christian by the way)
They're must have been some witness, I would think. Either that a group of people hatched a very sophisticated scam game. (Yes, that's possible). It's plausible a group of people; very skilled at acting and with "sleight of hand"; could have been working in concert with each other to appeal to one's softer side (e.g. give money to the needy and helpless). But suppose this guy was just a foldable life-like looking mannaquin with a voice recorder and once you turned away, the tricksters quickly concealed it. I'm not saying that this is what happened. But it's plausible. Strange hoaxes seem to happen all the time.

please tell me what you guys think about this experience I had. Thanks!
I rarely walk/drive by someone who looks desperate or is begging without offering to get them something to eat. I never ever give money. That is my preference and my choice, but I will buy a meal for just about anyone who wants it.
Some people turn me down because they prefer money, and that's cool - but I don't give it to them.
I try to join the person (man or woman) in a meal if I can, sometimes they choose not to and just want the food. I respect their choice. On the other hand I have heard some stories that mean a lot to me. Sometimes we talk religion, politics, conspiracy theories, or old times.
We just go to a fast food place (Subway is my first choice so they can have veggies if they want) and I insist they make their own choices. No one gets in the car and we are always in public view. Some have obvious mental illness and others are just beaten down. Most are choosing the street as an alternative to an institution.
I think I can say that each person has been kind and respectful to me, and I was enriched by spending time with them. Some people have joined me for a meal more than once.
I am sure I get more out of it than they do.
PS: I do not identify with the label "Christian" b/c too many church-goers make a mockery out of it, but that's what I am nonetheless.

Try to look up other posts on the net about this person, in case it is a scam and/or others have seen him?

need good google skills... Group words with quotes if you "want them to appear together" and +plus +each +word you want to surely be included in the results. As well as to take away words you don't need, use minus sign (-) if you want to try Googling.
I always wonder why
When you look down into my eyes
My feeling swiftly changed between happiness and sorrow
And tears begin to fall
I’m not you and you are not me
But your pain becomes my pain
When you are sad, I’m the one who foolish cry
When you are wounded, my heart is hurt more

Or just you turn around for a bit longer then you taught and he got himself behind a car, post or even inside the store...
No need for scam or angel.

He did a bolt when he got the $5.
In your case, less "tetchy", perhaps, and more "overbearing, obnoxious arsehole", if it's all the same with you, Bloke. Is it ok? Oh, good!

Or - on the positive side- could have been a test. I would rather think positively...
(and 5 dollars is not enough to do anything with - doubt it was any sort of scam actually)

There is many possibilities, just have to look at the bright side to things. Maybe it was "I AM" himself or just a guy smiling over the fact that a kid was being kind to him handing him a five dollar bill.... Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it was one of those things I was reading about....

RE: Possible religious test? (I'm Christian by the way)
Those electric wheelchairs are not cheap but he might have been given it or stole it. Maybe he fell out of the chair and he was on the ground and you did not see him.
There was a scam woman downtown in my city. She would shake. She was known as the "shaky lady". She would beg on the street and suddenly jump up and into a car driven by her sons.
The only time I saw someone "vanish" was seeing an odd woman walking on a street and while I drove back, I looked back and she was vanished - not time to go anywhere or into a house nearby. My MIL told me she had the same experience, same location. A local ghost sighting website described the same.
In any case you did good to try and help this person.
