I am not brainwashed.  Praying helped me as a child.  Feeling forgiven and worthy of grace made me feel good.  You cannot expect a child to understand everything.

I know some kids who grew up with me and they choose not to be Christians.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

It helped me too... until I woke up and realized that it was all a lie. It was hard coming out of Christianity and it took me six months to even recover from the brainwashing that I underwent as a Christian. It was a very painful process. Sad

It is unfair to tell kids things that we, as adults, claim that we take on faith. If I ever decide to have children or adopt, I would be more than happy to teach them about my religion... as well as other religions and telling them the things that are wrong with my religion. Hopefully, with that method, they will make a sound, informed decision when they come of age.

Love is the Law, Love under Will.
