RE: Aspergia, and all about it
1. We will buy land and build a viable micronation.
2. It will be wherever we can get cheap enough land, probably Wales if it's from AFF (Amy lives there), though North America shouldn't be ruled out.
3. Currency will be whatever we choose, if indeed we have a currency.
4. It would be on Earth, unless cost to orbit drops by two orders of magnitude.
5. We would speak English, mainly.

On Integer > 1 thoughts, we don't need a lot of land and visibility. Why don't make a hidden Autist nation right under the noses of current society? Remember, humans are visuak creatures, and you can't see under your nose (excepting a mirror). Link Autist homes with a secure, encypted network, maybe even set up a few front companies to own, develop and rent properties for Autists. Really, any group could do this; as long as they comply with certain laws and work around the others, they can do what they like with their own properties. It wouldn't surprise me if people already were.

RE: Aspergia, and all about it
Anyway... if I may link to WP without being banned (joke, joke, honest...)... http://www.wrongplanet.net/postxf178958-0-75.html
Imagine, if you like, the following:
A 50 something year old, female Aspie, extreme systematizing verbal thinker type offers her 100 acre Sierra Nevada Foothill property 120 miles East of SF Bay area (Google for climactic and eco-system details) for the construction of an Aspie friendly, seasonal retreat, self-sustaining, eco-village. She owns it, maybe with a partner, and establishes a set of rules and structure for construction. No collaborative process involved. No meetings, arguments or herding of cats needed.
Interested Aspies, perhaps with NT loved ones, arrive to local small town by their own means. There is a secure place in the town to leave ones vehicle. A mini-van then transports visitors to the Land where there are camp-style accomodations but with toilets and bathing facilities. Primitive at first. Evolving toward the eco-village with Aspie visitor help as time goes on.
There are pre-set projects with strict rules like where and what it is ok to build and that building materials must be natural, sustainable stuff only. But creativity is encouraged within these bounds. There is a garden site and a plan already made for how to develop it, as this Aspie woman already is a small scale farmer, knows the terrain and has been thinking for years about how to do it. Again, within the established structure, creative thinking and acting is encouraged.
No one is paid for their labor, as she has no money to pay, but food and energy produced on land is available to share with all who participate. An already existing niche in the local Farmer's Market and local food production system is long established and can produce cash income that could be shared by participants.
No one is charged for their stay either, at least during construction phase, and those who help build it get special use privileges to visit for free in future.
Question: Anyone following this thread find this idea appealing?
PS: It is off grid and going to stay that way but great cell reception.
So, we may get something like it...

RE: Aspergia, and all about it
Talk to John Novak on Facebook; he is trying to work on something for the future, a town where we never buy from corporations, a town full of small businesses where he and other construction workers will do the building and I'm willing to do just about any job at all there.
Oh, and no, we don't need lots of land. We can build UPWARDS instead of outwards, and build downwards several floors underground (some Aspies like darkness anyway). For growing stuff we can use grow lights inside the building.
Genocide is defined as "any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, social, political, economic, intellectual, familial, genetic, or religious group, as such: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; [and] forcibly transferring children of the group to another group."

We need an abundance of electrical energy and manpower for this. I'd suggest waiting for fusion and failing that... 'safe fission' if such ever will exist. Autism can do many of these things. We'll also need plenty of safe elevators and stairwells for vertical travel. Enough to accomodate ND types of people.

RE: Aspergia, and all about it
Well, we could do it secretly like - have a government that's based in a large house, with several levels downwards for government functions, and Autist controlled blocks of houses with underground streets. No need to grow our own food though, just buy it.
Like I said - "On Integer > 1 thoughts, we don't need a lot of land and visibility. Why don't make a hidden Autist nation right under the noses of current society? Why not consider the Southern Hemisphere? We've got bags of land that is reasonably priced and nice weather to boot.

Hmmm. I wouldn't call hot and dry "nice"... Perhaps New Zealand, since it's the Southern Hemisphere British Isles, but...
Lot's of land, but with small wildlife that can kill you. Don't fancy it...

Hot? Canberra hardly ever gets above 40 degrees Celsius in summer! And our seventeen year drought broke last year with flash floods. So not really dry as such...not what you could properly call dry, anyway. Of course, we do get catastrophic bush fires, but they can be quite picturesque. And you hardly ever hear of toddlers being eaten by the local spiders anymore, so what's not to like?

We could have it placed right near Melbourne. It would add a nice new layer and bring some new ideas to the crazy mixture of cultures we already have.
Of course, I am a little biased since this is the city I live in...

We should build a platform and float around the sea. We will call it "Regna," and declare ourselves emperors of the endless ocean. We will exact taxes from all boat travel. We will have a huge tank of dirt, and grow beans, squash, and corn. And eat a lot of fish. And squid.
Chris Christie is so fat, his lap-band is a symphony orchestra.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Yeah, Melbourne's really nice. If I couldn't live in Canberra, I would live in Melbourne. NEVER Sydney, though. Too big, brash, smelly and pushy a place for me to ever feel comfortable in. The same goes for the Gold Coast. All those people lying out on the beach covered in oil, sizzling away like so many sausages on a hot plate. *shudder*
