RE: I want to live in another country...
I hear the UK likes Americans.
But I wouldn't know since I'm an American, too. XD
Eh, it's a Love/Hate relationship.
But then, what do you expect? America never calls, it never writes...
Could you possibly help me out here?
What are your qualifications, what is your field of expertise?
Well I'm a 26 year old unemployed, unskilled worker, and a highschool graduate, but I know a bit on how to fix computers and I do want to work.
You're ******.
You'll need some sort of qualification or familial tie to get into the EU or Australia; If you want to work in computers, start studying for Cisco, Microsoft and COMPTIA qualifications; Even a Degree will help.

If you are in UK for 12 hours like I was, you'll notice the smells near the Underground.

Well yeah. The Tube sees over 3m passengers per day and it's the oldest system in the world. It is, in short, a little bit knackered in places.
What kind of smells, anyway?

I think this is getting a little off-topic

Indeed it is.
It's not impossible to immigrate without the aforementioned, but it's a damn slight easier if you've got them.
As I said, if you're in IT, look into MCSE, CCNA, COMPTIA A+ and N+ or other industry certs.

HAH!
A+ isn't a particularly good one, in truth - it's a bit basic. CCNA is a much better foundation to work from.

RE: I want to live in another country...
Every 2nd taxi driver in Australia has a higher degree in IT. Well it seems that way to me, at least, based on conversations with taxi drivers (which usually start out something like "What do you do? IT? Me too, I have a masters in IT from the university of Mumbai/Bangalore/Chennai").

Someone suggested the UK with it's National Autism Society program

Well, whatever you do, I'd learn the language spoken there before going, whether or not you're staying.

Come to the UK for respect of your identity to a degree you don't get anywhere else.

If by that you mean Prospects, don't get your hopes up - it has a long waiting list.
As the player's breath warms the fipple the tone clears.
It is time to consider how Domenico Scarlatti
condensed so much music into so few bars
with never a crabbed turn or congested cadence,
never a boast or a see-here; and stars and lakes
echo him and the copse drums out his measure,
snow peaks are lifted up in moonlight and twilight
and the sun rises on an acknowledged land.
Basil Bunting, Briggflatts

London isn't the be all and end all of the UK. That perception really grates me. We don't all go around with bowler hats and canes being awfully polite to each other. It has landscapes as diverse as the remote mountains of Snowdonia or the Scottish Munroes to the high tech urban skylines of Birmingham or Manchester.
Granted you're less likely to find a job in the former but I hope you understand the point.
