RE: Autistic Boy Beaten as Students Watch and Cheer

@Violet_Yoshi: She is barely 3 years old. I give her time-outs, but most of the bullying happens when I am at work and I've only really seen it myself once. Her bullying has escalated sharply in the past 3 or 4 weeks, since they have moved to Sydney with me. I suspect that she is trying to establish her position in the family.... and for a kid like her, there is only one position she is happy with. And that includes trying to take my wife's place as head female (seriously).

She barely comes up to my knees so she probably figures she'll let me think I'm boss for a little while yet. But I'm certain that situation will change.

My wife is trying to get our son to stand up for himself - she stands there and tells him to hit her back or to pinch her, but he is too gentle.
